Guest rt1092 Posted January 25, 2012 Report Share Posted January 25, 2012 I rebuilt my motor last week. My dampner (balancer) is not keyed. It is a press fit on the crank. I tried to get the zero mark on the balancer to line up like it did before. But it wound up 9 degrees retarded. I am using a 20 tooth wheel and magnetic pickup. Should I try to move the wheel? Is there a setting that I could/should adjust. I'm familar with the cam sensor timing. But I've never had the dampner off since installing my V44.
