Closed Loop Lambda and boost control issues

Testing CLL at idle. Even if I'm already around 14.7, CLL pulls fuel steadily until it gets to the -15% limit. Target AFR is 14.7:1 and it leans it out passed 16:1. Same on stoich or auto mode.

Closed loop boost control seems to go into stage 3 anytime it's on. It will go into stage 2 if I go into vacuum after being in boost, but as soon as it gets above the MAP activation pressue it goes to stage 3. Never goes into stage 1. Using the settings in the setup guide, 86kPa target with a ~86kPA wastegate spring. So stage 3 is 0%DC.

V88 on a subaru. Any ideas?

I think the CLL issue might be coming from it looking at the wideband average instead of the single sensor I have. I cant find anything that sets 1 sensor instead of Dual. The stoich modes have an option for dual on/off, but not auto.

Anyone? Fix doesn't seem to be fixing. AFR average is reading 0. With single wideband reading 14.7:1.

Changes

CLL (wideband mode) now uses the value of Wideband Average for measurement. This allows multiple sensors to be used.

Fixes

The wideband average parameter now also reads when only one sensor is used.

We have found a bug in FW 4.9.1. What happens is that the code steps through and checks things, Fuel Pressure is the thing it checks right before Wideband average. If Fuel pressure is setup in the ECU, it then skips wideband average and sets it to zero. CLL can then not work correctly in all modes as some rely on the wideband average value to work.

The work around is to change the Fuel Pressure to a General Pressure and then it works fine. It is on the list to be fixed.

I changed fuel pressure input to GP pressure and wideband average now reads correctly. That fixed my CLL. Thanks for the speedy work.

The boost control issue was caused by me putting in boost target as if it were MGP when it is actually MAP. Everything is fixed now.

Thanks.
