kirchoff
HI! I am working on a car with fury ecu and cops, we only have onlye one trigger on cranck so sequential is not possible. We have injectros wire one to one 4 injector to 4 inj drives. Cops are wired 1-4 to ign 1 and 2-3 to ign2. problem is that spark fires 1-4 2-3 simultaneusly , but injectors fires 1-3 and 2-4 which i think is not correct should it be like ignition? It is not ok someone knows the reson why it happend, on pc link injection type is set to multipoint group 1/2 engine cycle Ignition type is set to wasted spark. any ideas? Adamw
That is correct, in multipoint group mode the injector drives will be fired in two out of phase groups. All evenly numbered drives will fire together and all odd numberd drives will fire together.
kirchoff
And could be the reason for misfires or blow headgasket? if we would like to fire injectors as spark, 1-4, 2-3 how could we set it?
Adamw
No, because they are firing every 360deg but the intake valve only opens once every 720deg. This is how all ecu's work in batch fire mode. To do semi-sequential or sequential you will need a cam senor as you need to know which phase the engine is on.
