Guest Anonymous
Hello, I am considering a v44 ECU. I already have a knock sensor and amplifier setup which upon knock detect can output either a raw analogue signal (0-5v with adjustable threshold via an on-board potentiometer) or a processed digital signal (5v=no knock, 0v=knock). Can this be interfaced to the v44 knock compensation routines? or must one have the Vi-pec kit? How much is the vi-pec kit? thanks Nigel
Simon
Hi Nigel The 0-5 could be used as an input to the ECU but is not as effective as using windowed knock using the Vi-pec interface. For pricing you will need to contact your nearest dealer.
