Guest |953| Posted January 15, 2013 Report Share Posted January 15, 2013 Hi guys, I recently just completed a swap of my Australian Impreza RX (same as Impreza Sport in the UK) to a JDM STI V6. I also swapped in the climate control system and today got my aircon gassed - everything works ok except the aircon request - when the requested temperature has been achieved and the compressor cuts out, I can see the air con request signal (which I have on DI2) going Active, Off, Active, Off, Active Off every half a second or so until the compressor cuts back in, the revs are erratic when it's doing this as it thinks I am pushing the aircon switch on and off, does anyone have any suggestions? Simon Posted January 16, 2013 Report Share Posted January 16, 2013 Check the voltage on the Di and see what that is doing. The ECU needs to see the signal go high (normally 12V) and Low (less than 0.5V) If the signal is not pulling fully to ground less than 0.5 volts it might require a pull down resistor to be fitted.
