Mr.3114
Hi all. I seem to be having an issue with calibrating my TPS. When placing my foot about 3/4 to the floor the TPS will read up to 100 then jump back to 0-10 and start climbing back up again. I've tried a new TPS and recalibrating it to no avail. Monsoon G4X. Thank You!
Adamw
What is the engine from? What throttle body does it have? Is it a 4pin or 3pin TPS? How is it pinned?
Mr.3114
3sge Beams Gen 5. Stock TB with Xcessive manufacturing ETC-S to Cable delete. I have no problem actuating the throttle itself, no binding issues. 4 pin TPS. Haven't checked wiring yet, but it is a custom harness. Thanks for the response! Adamw
Sounds like wiring is wrong. Check compared to pic below. You should have 5V & gnd and the TPS main as the signal. Be aware these toyota diagrams are looking back into the wiring loom plug - not the sensor, so opposite of how pretty much everyone else does it. Mr.3114
That makes sense. I'll have to check that, I bet the 5v and ground are swapped.
