ATS_Scott
I have a customer with a Vi-pec PNP ecu for a 3sgte. He tells me he is running windows 8 on his laptop, had connection with ECU for about an hour, and now it will not re-connect. He confirms there is power at the ECU and the engine will start and run. The connection cable is plugged in and no apparent physical problems. Has anyone seen this type of connection problem before? I have never even used win8 so i'm not sure what to recommend. ATS_Scott
I connected to the ECU initially before shipment with a winows 7 machine to load a base map. I had no issues. Then shipped to customer. I'll recommend un-installing VTS and Usb drivers, then re-installing. I read a previous comment in another thread about actually deleting the VTS folder as well before re-install. Thanks! Scott
