Jasu
Hi guys. I am looking for a similar display as the DTA X-Dash. Are there any which works with Vipec? Regards, Jani
Simon
AIM, Racepak, Race Technology, Motec all do very nice units that can interface with ours.
EFMotor
And of course the displaylink works great, and is plug and play on the v44 and v88.
Jasu
Thanks guys. That displaylink seems to be the only reasonable option.
Jean Niemi
Jani, We stock the Displaylink. (Displaylinkiä löytyy meillä varastosta.)
Jasu
Jean, does KMS CAN display work with V44?
Jean Niemi
Jani, I believe KMS CAN Display will work with V44, but you would have to know the KMS CAN configuration. Simon or Scott from ViPEC will have to confirm this. i-series ECUs have pre-configured CAN mode for KMS, so it is very easy.
Simon
The V series will not work with the KMS only the i Series can.
Sutkale
AIM, Racepak, Race Technology, Motec all do very nice units that can interface with ours. But I suppose Racepak won´t work through CAN? I was about to go with Racepak but found this topic: http://www.learntotune.com/discussions/ ... us-to-ecu/ EDIT: Found this type of a module from Racepak website, still not a CAN interface? (http://www.racepak.com/Components/EFI.php): 230-VM-EFIVIPEC ViPEC EFI Engine Rpm EFI MAP Press Barometer EFI TPS Inj Duty Cycle Inj Pulse W EFI H2O Temp EFI Intake Temp EFI Voltage Wheel Speed Inj Timing Ing Timing E1-Knock Custom 1 Custom 2 Custom 3 Custom 4 EDIT2: Maybe I was hesitating, found this. The dash will be hooked to CAN port at ECU side leaving the serial for laptop: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=400&hilit=racepak
Simon
At this point in time as far as I know racepak is still using the Serial (in the same CAN plug) and then converting through their Vnet module. I do know they have been working on a true CAN option but have not seen one in the flesh yet.

Simon
It is connected to the same plug that the CAN comes out on but will be using the serial TX and RX wires.
