Aux Output 9 & 10 for injector power?

Hi,

Main ECU power goes to the '+14V IN' pin, am i right in reading that even if your not using the Aux 9/10 outputs, i must also wire power to the '+14V AUX 9/10' pin?

What would the current draw for the '+14V AUX 9/10' pin be? If this is just for 'self diagnostics' is it just a few mA?

If i have to have power connected there, and im not using electronic throttle ect, can I use Aux outputs 9 and 10 for something else? and for it to output a polarity HIGH (+)?

Wondering if i can power the injectors from either or both aux 9/10? - 12ohm high impedance injectors, so current draw would be smallish(1.2A). This would save me having to have another output on my PDM (power distribution module) or save having me having to splice into another power and having the injector power from the ecu means the ecu will have a better idea of the injector voltage.

If this can be done, and is a good idea, how would you program the outputs 9/10 to be polarity high and on all the time for the injectors?

If set as 'GP Output' i cant set polarity? is it set as low?

Or set as something else.. Test (on)? will that stay ON permanently? or Fuel Pump??

Thanks.

You will need to supply power to stop the warning coming up on the VTS.

The current if not using drives 9 and 10 will be very small.

You are not able to use these to supply power. (the drives are unable to do this)

Although your injectors will only draw about an amp they are in parallel so the total current will be 1 x number of injectors
