sungwon
hello Here is Korea I'm currently using a G4+ extreme and trying to control the westgate with a mac 35 valve using aem rotary switch. All settings seem to be normal, but there is no control Solenoid control used aux4 In g4x, there is a pwm output setting, but it seems that g4+ does not seem to be used, so I wonder if there should be a specific aux. Please reply if you know thank you
Adamw
Can you attach your map and possibly a short PC log. Aux 1-8 is fine for boost control. sungwon
sungwon
thanks for the quick reply I can't test the dyno right now, so I'm uploading only map files and image files During the dyno test, I was able to see the duty cycle go up to 100. Thanks for any reply 202210013_is300_2jz_dyno_boost.pclr
Adamw
Your set up all looks ok to me I expect it will work. The wastegate DC in your screenshot is showing 0% most likely because you are below the MAP activation. Next time have a look at the parameter "Boost Control Status", this will usually give you some good clues to what the boost control function is doing. sungwon
sungwon
thanks for the help adamw First of all, we will conduct a dyno test again and upload the logging data related to boost as soon as possible. thank you
sungwon
The current boost no longer rises from the Westgate normal boost of 1.1 bar. I've tried various Mac 3 port lines, just in case, but it doesn't work. please help ~ 20221016_is300_boost.llg
Adamw
Most likely it is not an electronics problem in this case. You can set the aux output to "test (ON)" to check if solenoid and wiring is working. Try disconnecting the hose from the wastegate, then see if you get a large boost increase. If not then it is a mechanical problem.
sungwon
I've already seen the boost go up normally using pwm tests and mechanical boost control. So, even try replacing the Mac 35 valve with one that uses ... I also doubted whether it would be possible in the G4+ Extreme. So, I asked the Aux Output setup question first. I will keep trying Thank you
