Vipec V88 with Greddy Sensors ?

Hi All

I have searched the forums and cant find anything on this so decided to ask the question.

I had installed the Greddy Multi D/A Gauge in my Supra which has now been removed to make way for a Aim XML connected to the Vipec V88 which is being installed.

I would like to make use of the sensors as they cost a fortune here in South Africa and are basically brand new sensors. (EGT, Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp) Water is using the supplied Vipec sensor.

Does anyone know the specs on the sensors so that I can make sure the Vipec is getting the correct info. (I have asked Greddy who replied with a sorry but that is proprietary info which can not be supplied.)

Does the vipec software have a compatible sensor that can be selected

Thanks

John

You will be able to use the sensor but suspect you might have to work out the values by comparing the voltage output for known inputs.

For example the EGT would need to be measured with another device and then the output of the unknown sensor measured.

Thanks Simon

I was hoping that somebody knew the sensor is the same as xyz as I didnt think Greddy made sensors.

I guess they could get custom sensors made with non standard ranges to force people to use Greddy sensors with the Greddy gauges etc.
