I just connect knock sensor to my vi-pec v88 My knock sensor is bosch sensor Some body can help me for make basic setting on the knock system? Guest Posted May 12, 2014 Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 Hi Ludovic, According to the info I have the EJ25 uses a 6 kHz knock sensor from the factory. If you are still using this sensor I would recommend uses the LP filter, as this is for all frequencies up to 7 kHz. You will need to adjust the gain settings to get your levels set up. Guest Posted May 13, 2014 Report Share Posted May 13, 2014 Hi Ludovic, I don't have any base-maps for a subaru with knock control setup. The gains settings and table values can vary a fair bit depending on the engine setup, and for this reason needs to be tailored to each setup. The Knock target table range is zero to 1000, my advice is to adjust the gain levels until normal engine noise is around a level of 500.
