Sparkystav
I'm trying to figure out how to control my nitrous pulsoids using the link g4 storm. Unfortuantly they draw around 8a each so direct connection to the pwm aux out of the link is a no no. I'm looking at using a MOSFET to control them instead but that needs a pulsed 5v input and the options on the link are earth or 12v. Is there anything I can do? I could used a lm7805 regulator but im just adding more components and am worried I wouldn't get a reliable reaction.
Simon
You could use a 5V external pullup on an aux out to switch the MOSFET. Or you can also use a solid state relay.
Simon
Would need about a 10K resistor, the solid state relay would be fine to do a PWM control.
