tacho problem

Hi Manuell.

A car from that era is most likely to have a high level tacho input needed.  Put simply, these older tacho's were designed to take a high voltage signal directly from the coil negative.  The G1 Link ECU's, and infact all of them can only output a low level (low voltage) signal, and is not enough to drive the tacho.

You will need to modify the tacho to accept a low level signal, or find a box on the internet that will transform this signal as necessary.  I know they exist, but cannot recommend any that I know of.
