Squirrel Posted August 16, 2023 Report Share Posted August 16, 2023 Any idea why this would occur Hill assist light seems to trigger on fast accelerator liftoff after full throttle and boost. Usual scanner won’t check for error codes with link installed as it wants stock ecu details which it uses to look up which car and then connect to rest of the controllers. New motor does pull more vacuum on deceleration but not excessively more. But no ABS light and brakes are fine so currently discounting vacuum issues. Adamw Posted August 16, 2023 Report Share Posted August 16, 2023 As far as I know the hill start uses the clutch switch, brake pedal switch, hand brake switch and wheel speeds. If you can get a PC log of the issue happening, then those are the first things I would look at to confirm they are doing anything odd.
