Andromeo89 Posted September 24, 2023 Report Share Posted September 24, 2023 Hello, I have a 2008 Impreza Hatchback RX 2.0i 148 hp, non-turbo with 5 speed manual dual range gearbox. My exhaust system needs to be replaced, including cat converters and also my EGR is not in its best health. I have the HITACHI ECU which everyone says it can't be remapped and will throw errors if I put high-flow cat, uneven length headers and remove the EGR. My question is which model (if any) of the Link ECUs can replace the factory ECU straight away and will allow me to do these things (high-flow cat, uneven length headers, removing the EGR....etc.) and also support an engine swap or turbo conversion somewhere in the future.
