Gronk
Both the newly-replaced sensor and measured at the connector (sweeping between .7-4.90v with throttle) are reading correctly but the ECU pin 73 is reading 6.45v constant (no change with throttle movement). Any ideas?
Adamw
Can you give more info about what ECU and car? The AN volt inputs wont display anything higher than 5.0V so where are you seeing 6.45V?
Gronk
Sure - G4x in a M50 swapped E30. I'm seeing 5.00v in PCLink UI with a TPS voltage too high error. I get the 6.45v with the multimeter at pin 73.
Adamw
G4X what? A wire-in or plug-in? Our E36 plug-in ecu is only suitable for the M50tu with vanos, the non-vanos M50 pinout is completely different.
Gronk
Yes, Plug in and that would explain it. Sounds like I got some bad info from the vendor saying it was compatible from the vendor. Thanks for the help.
