Josh222 Posted May 12 Report Share Posted May 12 I am setting up a PRP trigger kit on a RB26 and was looking to grind off one of the teeth to make it 12-1 pattern. I remember reading on here that I should remove a tooth from before the tdc position on the crank gear. At tdc the sensor is over the tooth at 9 o'clock, will the 6 or 7 o'clock position be fine? Adamw Posted May 12 Report Share Posted May 12 Although not particularly important with the g4X, the ideal location for the missing tooth would be so that the missing tooth passes the sensor either 60-90deg before TDC or 60-90 after TDC.
