Andrew Laas Posted December 30, 2006 Report Share Posted December 30, 2006 hi i have recently installed a lem g3 on a silvertop 4age 20v and the day i picked it up from being tuned it broke the mount off the gearbox. anyway this requierd me to take the engine out to get it fixed. now that ive put the engine in again it wont start and just blows large flames out the intake.before it came out it went fine. i have a pretty good understanding of the whole system but am not too sure about diagnosing problems. base timing appers to be correct with a trigger offset of 0. would i be correct in assuming that the engine is firing with the intake valves wide open hence the flames? any help would be apreciated as the tunig shop wont be open 4 a while Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
