Massimo Narini
I am using a stock replacement MSD Optispark for my 95 LT1. The optispark uses 2 optical triggers:  - an outer high resolution ring of 360 evenly spaced slots used for crankshaft position -an inner low resolution ring of 8 slots of varying size that correlate to the different cylinders  Is there a way to calibrate the Link G4 Extreme to use these as the trigger inputs instead of a crankshaft position sensor and a cam angle sensor?  How would this be wired? Massimo Narini
as I have done some more reading it is almost exactly the same as a Nissan 360 opto system, only with more inner slots for the 8 cylinders.
Simon
Hi you are on to it. The system is the same as the Nissan one. If you follow the set up the same as for Nissan you will be on your way.
