Kerem Erdag
Hi There, I'm new to Link ECUs but I've been doing some projects with some other brands in the past. So I'm not that new to the concept. I just bought a G4 storm for my BMW M30B35 Turbo project. M30B35 is a 3.5 liter inline 6 cylinder engine thus, I have 6 injectors to drive with 4 channels. There are two possibilities to drive injectors; 1- use injector driver 1 and 2; .......injector 1,3 and 5 to driver 1 and injector 2,4 and 6 to driver 2. with some ballast resistors. 2- use 4 of 4 injector drivers:...... connect injector driver 1+3 in parallel and drive injector 1,3,5 and connect injector driver 2+4 in parallel and drive 2,4,6 Which is the right way? Â Thanks for the help in advance, Kerem
Simon
For low impedance injectors would will have to use the drives in parallel to give enough current capacity. On High impedance injectors using 2 drives is fine with 3 injectors each.
