James Spurling
I understand Peak and hold injectors can be used with the Link ECU replacement board. Â I'm installing this in a BMW Z3 which has been converted to OBDI wiring and currently has Bosch engine management. Â My motor is undergoing a horsepower upgrade and needs larger injectors. Â I have a set of RC PL2-320 injectors the specs from RC's web page are: Â Resistance: Â 2.5 Ohms @ 68*F Voltage: Â 8-15v, 13.5v nominal Amperage: Â peak 4.0 amps, hold 1.5 amps What size resistor should I order to use these injectors? Â I'm having this installed and tuned by Brett Strom at Bullet. Thanks,
Simon
A 2R2 50W resistor per injector will be about right for those injectors as they require a bit more than normal to get them open. Â
Simon
The drives are good for. Nore normally it is the injector that burns out first, this then takes the ECU out.
