Guest |141|
"Project of ages".. as a base it's Audi 5cyl 20v engine, forget engine parts and so on some pics with still old engine and ECU. Holds fastest lap time (1:19) of GT cars in Kacergine track Lithuania, with just low boost 450Hp, with high boost was problems with understeer. Porsche GT3, BMW M3 is doing ~1:21 and this year some updates... hmmm which should i fit engine bay and cockpit (it's bad, we can't rotate ViPEC decal on ECU ) Engine wiring done, will start this engine maybe this week Target is ~500Hp race and ~720Hp qualification

Guest Hic
Nrvz which turbo exactly are you using? I have to start my toyota and I have CT364 3B turbo. Since this is a new turbo from COMP, I would like to know which turbo you used so I can compare some things. You can email me on [email protected] if you don't want to write here. I would be thankfull for that info.
Guest |141|
on old engine it was Holset HX40 in KKK26 housing. It was quite high backpressure and EGT. new engine will have CT4367 3B. What you want to know about Compturbo?
Guest Hic
I tested ct350, ct355, ct367, but for my car I have ct364. I wonder how is it comparing to GT35. Also, on 2L engine, which boost is needed for 600HP or something like that
Guest |141|
it depends on many factors, regarding required boost for your car. What turbine trim you have and A/R ?
Guest Hic
Nrvz I can see Repo's work in your car Quite good intake and exhaust manifold Have the same intake :D:D on my toyota. I have 0.63ex AR, and stg3 I think. Also talked with Repo about that, but no one tested that turbo yet. Since I saw these turbo's, I thought you had the chance to test. As I know you use 67? Nice one

Guest |141|
few laps video from test day: boost 1.35bar V88 is working like a charm, open loop boost is working better then any aftermarket boost controler
rayhall
open loop boost is working better then any aftermarket boost controler Yes it gives very stable and repeatable boost control. There is a lot to be said for this method. Ray.
