SCAR17s
Hello, I was given this ecu off a friends sand rail, its running an EJ25 with a supercharger on 30psi. Any help with manuals/firmware is appreciated. Serial number is as follows. 420896Thanks!
Simon
30psi is pushing it as the MAP sensor only reads up to 22psi LEMV3.pdf
SCAR17s
Thanks! Is it PC tuneable? Or would I need to buy a new MCU with a newer firmware?
Simon
Hand control only on that one.It would need the main micro replaced to get PC tuning, and then a full retune. At which point it would be much better to go to a newer unit like the G4+ Atom or Monsoon
David Frechette
SCAR17s, confirm your 30 psi boost, if its at 22 psi or lower I have a G1V5 i am swapping off my turbo charged Ej25, This one is PcLink programmable with laptop. Are you keeping it on a Ej25? Im in the states, No. Cal. Would be willing to sell for a good price to you.
SCAR17s
So I just pulled this unit apart, and noted the internal map sensor is rated to 250Kpa, That puts the sensor in the 36psi range, are you saying the sensor cant take more than 22psi, or the programming cant scale past 22 psi? David, thanks we are going to use a MS-pro ecu on the sand rail, this old Link will be retired to running engines on our run-in stand, no boost or load, just thermal cycles and data collection. What would you have to have for that G1V5 unit? I think i really just want to order the new MCU with the later code for PC tuning. But where would I order it? Simon
250Kp is absolute so the first 100kpa is vacuum and then 150kpa of pressure/boost.
