Chi-Town
I did a quick search and didn't find an answer so here I am. I'm looking at a set of Speedhut gauges that use a CAN J1979 protocol in order to keep a factory looking dash. Does the G4+ Fury have the ability to have the CAN output set to this protocol? Thanks for your time
Adamw
J1979 is just a PID definition standard for OBD2. So yes they will work with our OBD2 output. The exception is their oil temp, oil press and trans temp gauges say "only work with GM vehicles" so they may use some different PIDs that the standard set. Below are the PID's that our OBD2 outputs:
Chi-Town
Perfect, the gauges use the GM PIDS so I'm good. Thanks for your quick reply!

No, Im saying the 3 specific gauges that they state "are only compatable with GM vehicles" probably wont work. All the others like RPM, speed, coolant temp etc will.
