exileperformance
Do we have any good way to integrate the AEM VDM with the G4+ Platform? I have a Thunder ECU
Adamw
No not really. GPS needs 32bit numbers, our CAN setup only allows 16Bit max. Also we dont have available CAN input parameters for accel or gyro. You could get some data using the generic CAN AN Volt channels, but you cant give these parameters meaningful names or units so they are particularly user-friendly. exileperformance
Is this something that could be done in a software upgrade down the road?
exileperformance
Any updates on this?
Adamw
No as above, the G4+ firmware is all based on 16bit variables, so not suitable for GPS coordinates. The G4X firmware has been designed from scratch to have capability to work with this type of device in future.
exileperformance
Can a Fury G4X be setup to use this?
Adamw
There is still no support for GPS coordinates in G4X as yet. The Gyro data should be possible. The furyX has 3 axis accelerometers built in so probably dont need those in this case.
