Alexbrig
Hello, Please advise correct injector and ignition wiring and setup for VQ30DET engine with 36-2 crank trigger wheel using hall sensor from VQ35 on G4+ Fury. If configured as 3 cylinder 2 stroke engine and wired by grouping 1-4, 2-5, 3-6 cylinders 's injectors and coils respectively will it work correctly? Can't use cam sync at this point for full sequential operation. Firing order on VQ's is 1-2-3-4-5-6 Did read about group fire mode, but not sure if it will work correctly on this setup. Adamw
It should be configured as normal, 6cyl, 4 stroke. Set injection mode to multi-point group and injection rate to 1/2 cycle. Set ignition mode to wasted spark. Set trigger 2 sync mode to none. Coil pairing is correct but personally I would have wired the injectors individually cyl1-inj1, 2-2, 3-3 etc, as it would have given more even pressure pulsations in the fuel rail but it will still work as you have done. Alexbrig
Hello Adam, In the multi-point group the injectors will be fired by odd / even drivers as mentioned in the help?
Adamw
Correct, so with my suggested wiring you would have 3 injectors squirting at the same time, then 360deg later the other 3 squirt. With your present wiring you will have 4 injectors squirt together, then 360deg later 2 injectors squirt.
dbs13
Why not use the factory vq30 timing marks?
