  1. Hello guys I'm using this 88 mm BMW DBW with link ECU DBW Module

this DBW is out of BMW V8 NA engines

The problem starts only after running the car on high boost which is more than 2 bars the throttle starts to do stupid stuff and the ECU triggers E-throttle error and goes on safe mode. recalibrate it and it works fine.
It did this before and after while it started to happed more frequently so i changed the throttle with a new one and problem disappeared, now starts to happen again with the second throttle directly after going on high boost runs.
my imagination is this throttle is not designed for these levels of boost so its fucked up from inside, does any one have experience with these throttles at high boost before? and if so which DBW do you guys use at these levels of boost?
I'm planning to go 3 bars

    thanks in advance

  2. Hello there, I have AEM wideband Controller Connected to AEM CD7 Dash on a low speed Bus ( 500KBit/sec), I m trying to transmit the data from the Dash to the ECU on high speed Bus( 1KBit/sec) here is my setup and it only reads 1 on the ECU right now before using 1000 multiplier it used to read 0.001 I think the problem with the offset how the dash store the data ANY HELP.

Hmm, no that sounds a bit odd.  So if you unplug coils 2 & 3 and do an ign test on Ign1, do coils 1&4 spark?  Or do you only get a spark with one coil connected to a drive?

i solved the problem ECU GND wasn't connected correctly the problem was if you unplug any coil the 3 works fine if you plug the fourth coil nothing works

  4. Hello there I've just installed IGN1A coils with a EVO 7 G4+ pnp ECU and i have a very weird problem when all the coils are plugged no coils firing when i un plug only one coil any coil the other 3 fires very well I'm running them in a wasted spark mode coils 1&4 connected to pin 10 in the ECU which is ign 1, coils 2&3 connected to pin 23 which is ign 2

any thoughts what could be the problem ?!

  5. Hello there, I am wiring this Bosch Pressure and Temp sensor and it says in the sensor manual 4.6K ohm pull up resistor is required for optimum operation and the ECU only have 1K or 10 K so i have to add an external one How should it be wired ?

  6. My question now does the link extreme CAN 2 has a built in terminator resistor because im measuring the resistance across the bus while the ecu is powered on it gives 98 ohm and 120 when the ecu is off is this normal i think it should be 60 ohm while the ecu is powered on

  7. Hello there, I'm wiring 2 AEM X series Wideband controllers to a link G4+ extreme ECU via a CAN

I wired them to CAN 2 which in connector B and I added a 120 ohm terminator resistor as the wideband controllers don't have, I don't have a gauge to set the controller id so I followed the manufacturer manual to get the controller a new id with one controller only plugged and I tried the 16 ids they have from 384 to 399 with no hope to get it work what could be the problem here is my setting what could be wrong.

    thanks in advance
