  1. Not super fancy, but I use a math block to filter my speed signal with the average function (av). Works really well.
  2. I really appreciate the feedback and the help. Got a tuner setup the car this summer, but I'm in the process of going over the map and improving it. I just disabled the warm up ECT and started to setup the charge temperature instead. I've disabled the wastegate, reduce timing on boost (via the IAT ignition trim) and disable close loop fuel while I'm adjusting the fuel map. There is an offset with my current AFR gauge that I account for in the AFR lambda target (1.03 lambda = 1 on the gauge), I'll fix that over winter with a new CAN controller. Don't hesitate if you have other recommendation on the map.
  3. Looks like it was the fuel overrun, turning it off fixed the issue. I rise the RPM deactivation to 2000 RPM and it fixed the issue. One last issue trying to fix, when the car is really hot, blip will get the idle down to 600-700rpm almost staling the car, when the target is 1100. I attached 2 PC log showing this. The PID gets to max timing (35) quite fast the idle is still dropping, then throttle starts opening up to 5% then still dropping, then it starts getting back to the target. tx for the help
  4. I've been able to improve idle a lot by following a few advices on this forum. When I'm over the speed lockout (status = hold speed) the idle oscillate from 1700 to 1300 until i reach the speed, then it stabilizes very nicely. Can't seem to find what is controlling idle when above the speed. Attached the tune and a log I did. tx,
  5. Hi, When looking at the base map provided with the software the Fuel Temperature sensor is not configured, but seems to be wired when looking at the diagram. Is that on purpose and should be left as this or it is a good idea to configure it? If so anybody as the calibration for this sensor? tx,
  6. I had the same problem today lapping with the car. G4X on my 04 STI, using a surface go on the dash to log IAT while testing a new A2W setup. PCLink was freezing after a few sec at full throttle and never recovering. I had to kill the application with task manager. It did that on all sessions I did today.
  7. I went lapping with the car and car is running a bit lean. After reviewing the log I'm seeing that the car gets in Lockout: %TPS Delta for 1s which is preventing the ECU from correcting fuel to reach target. After the shift I get the "engine cut" which is also preventing fuel correction for almost 2 sec. Knocklite was showing a bit of activity which is not good. 2 questions 1) My current TPS Delta Lockout is et à 20%/100ms. What would be the recommended value? 0? 2) Is the engine cut related to the gear shift control? If so which parameter might be causing that? Anything else? tx Simon-Gagnon-Subaru STI V10 G4X Xtreme Plugin-V1-3-10.pclx
  8. Update, I've been able to test a few more value tonight, getting there. Here is the latest setup and result with the log. Any comment welcome. Simon-Gagnon-Subaru STI V10 G4X Xtreme Plugin-V1-3-6.pclx ECU Log 2020-07-10 9;51;21 pm.llgx
  9. Awesome tx for the info, really helpful. I did more test with the PID set to 0 yesterday to find proper WGDC. Here are the logs and the update values. I'll test some more today and post after. I want the turbo to get back to wastegate boost level ~200kpa pass 8k rpm, so I put the WGDC to 0 pass these RPM. Not sure it's the best way to do so, still testing. 10. here is the tune. Your right it takes about 20 to get 220kpa, but when I set the WGDC too close to the target it overshoot all the time. Simon-Gagnon-Subaru STI V10 G4X Xtreme Plugin-V1-3-3.pclx
  11. I've done a lot of reading and spent a few hours in the car doing some tests. Followed the guideline in the help file. Looking for ideas to help stabilize boost, currently chasing my tail. Can't seem to get the PID correct. Even with low number like P=0.2, D=0.1 it still overshoot at first then I have a few oscillation. With higher WGDC and P=1 and D=0.8 I had major oscillation from 15psi to 20psi. It's an EWG with base boost target of 200kpa/15psi. Testing at 220 for safety, end target would be 230. G25-660 on a destroke 2.35 with 9.3 compression ratio, spool pretty fast. Activating stage 2+3 end up doing some oscillation when stage 3 kicks in with only 0.1 for I value. Looks like stage 2 only works better or I didn't figure how to set it up properly. Reducing the WGDC at about 10-20% under the real target seems to help. Attaching a log with my latest setting (goes with Boost setup.png, P=0.6 and D=0.5). Also attaching another test I did with slighly higher WGDC and lower value on the PID. 12. Awesome tx for the info, I'll test this out tonight.
  13. Currently trying to setup my LC, but I have backfire that are quite noisy while holding the RPM stage. There are rules with sound limitation, with backfire I won't be able to use it. Any idea how I could set it up to avoid this issue? Attach are the current setting and a log I did. ECU Log 2020-07-1 109 5;49;55 (LC Test) pm.llgx
