  1. Thanks Adam, I made those changes and it has improved not great but better, I will check the idle stepper is getting "Home" the throttle blade is fully closed, I'll check for any vacuum leaks as this could be contributing.
  2. Ok guys, I managed to make some good changes to my idle issues but I’m still struggling to find the sweet spot., would anyone be able to view my log files and provide some feedback on what areas I need to focus on to fine tune the idle control. When viewing the file, I made some changes on the fly to improve the idle. the last part of the log shows the rev hang with idle condition stating active. If I force the engine to almost stall idle control will engage would this be driven from the map lock out settings or rpm lock out? Could there be something else within my tune that is driving the rev hang? Thanks in advance https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xwxQa122D7Aca7QGivojmc0q2JUG_j6b?usp=sharing
  3. Thanks @Adamw i'll make the changes and let you know. once again appreciated :-)
  4. @castillaricardo would you be able to have a look at my log file, I have made changes as suggested and I am still experiencing rev hang, it doesn’t happen all the time mainly when I touch the throttle from idle, I am also experiencing some excessive popping (ignition retard) when off the throttle would this be caused by the idle settings? If you could point me in the right direction that would be appreciated. Rob. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xwxQa122D7Aca7QGivojmc0q2JUG_j6b?usp=drive_link
  5. Thanks for this, i'll make some changes and see how i go...:-)
  6. Hi all, I am having difficulties with finding a stable idle configeration and was hoping someone could have a look at my log files. I have a large throttle body so air metering is quite responsive so when trying to find a smoth transition from idle can be tricky, however im sure that my idle settings are the main cause. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xwxQa122D7Aca7QGivojmc0q2JUG_j6b?usp=sharing
  7. Thanks Adam, I'll inspect my shielded wires
  8. Hi Guys, i'm experiencing engine cut under load what could be causing this? ive noticed my trigger 1 error increases at the same time as engine cut, coud I be expericing voltage drop at high load and this is causing a disruption with the crank signal? Link below for log file and base map https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1QgwMIfJnC8PonA6VAsLnWnaLdMZ1-Dms?usp=sharing
  9. @koracing Currently only around the 12psi, the reason i was looking at using a boost table was that some of logs are using over 100% of my main fuel table, is this normal?
  10. Thanks Adam, would this be correct for the fuel table?
  11. Hi Team, I am in need of some help on how best to configure my fuel table for a supercharger, would I be best to use all the same parameters as a turbo/boost and then adjust to suit the supercharger or am I best to leave the boost control function off and adjust my tables with the tps? if anyone has setup a fuel table to suit a supercharger and can steer me in the right direction that would be appreciated.
  12. thanks for that @koracing, I know the threshold needs to be configured to suit each engine but what would be a good start point for the table as apposed to a zero value
  13. Ok so I now have knock enabled but its super sensitive, what is the best way to adjust the sensitivity link to log file and base map below https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1QgwMIfJnC8PonA6VAsLnWnaLdMZ1-Dms?usp=sharing
  14. @Adamwshould i assign all cylinders to the same trim table?
  15. attached now without restrictions thanks adam https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JN8yyc2jEbaONRUvkM5DpFE0ebP3dX9M/view?usp=sharing
  16. @remski2 just out of interest what would be causing my knock sensors not being active? base map in below link for reference https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JN8yyc2jEbaONRUvkM5DpFE0ebP3dX9M/view?usp=drive_link
  17. Thanks @remski2 i'll look at the triggers and not sure why my knock is not active ...I'll check these connection, appreciate you viewing the file. My AFR needs some adjustments, this was the first run so lots to work on :-)
  18. Hi team, I'm attempting to do some round tuning and would appreciate if someone could have a look at a log file. i think i have maxed out my injectors but just want to make sure its not something in my settings before i look at larger injectors, I'm also experiencing fuel cut at around 4500rpm PC Datalog - 2023-10-8 4;09;53 pm.zip
  19. Sorted the ECT and Map sensor, another start up can you please look at this log, still running pretty rich, just concerned if injector configuration is correct? PC Datalog - 2023-09-21 6;25;17 am.zip
  20. also note it has a large cam so idle may be a problem for initial start up? 214°/224° at .050" Intake Lift .566" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio Exhaust Lift .536" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio 116 Lobe Separation
  21. I dont have anything wired to AN Volt 4- thats wierd ill check this and confirm, the -4* could be correct as the first start up and its pretty cold here, if you look at the log the temp does increase to +2* at the end of the run, i have calibrated the MAP, what other checks can I do to verify the MAP is working correctly?
  22. ok it fired :-)....log file attached its running very rich and wont idle. i need some help with the timing to confirm the advance (bit difficult by myself). what can i adjust to get it to idle so i can adjust the timing. @Vaughan @Adamw thanks a bunch for getting me thus far! PC Datalog - 2023-09-19 6;16;30 am.llgx
  23. i have adjusted the dwell tables as described, is there any other options for the DI1 connection, does the ECU require this signal to run or can this be bypassed? also with the bypass wire if i ground this can i still adjust timing ? when i apply an offset to the spark advance nothing changes and from the strobe light I am still seeing approx 12-15* during cranking - @Vaughan thanks for clarifing the ignition switch source, i'll tunr this off and see how i go, as for the offset timing i'll atempt to adjust this via the individual trim table as you suggested previously hopfuly this will work. @Adamw should the bypass wire be connected to 8v analog or should this wire be +8v? the wiring configuration was not real clear on this so i assumed it would only need to see a grounding signal not voltage supply, (I will however ground this wire as suggested and check timing to rule out any wiring issues)
  24. I have made the adjustments to the dwell tables as described. I'm now wondering if there are any alternative options for the DI1 connection. Does the ECU rely on this signal to operate, or can it be bypassed? Additionally, concerning the bypass wire, if I ground it, will I still be able to adjust the timing? I've noticed that when I apply an offset to the spark advance, there doesn't seem to be any change, and when using a strobe light during cranking, I'm still seeing approximately 12-15 degrees of advance.
  25. thanks Adam, i will make the suggested changed and let you know, with the dwell adjustment is this adjusted from this table?
