  1. Any suggestions on how should I setup my knk gain level per cylinder and threshold? Also how to setup my ignition table depending on that. @Adamw thanks in advance One more question, link ECU isn't reading speed input from the cluster and the cluster isn't reading the rpm. The wiring seems to be fine. The car is altezza. It was reading fine with the previous 1j vvti ECU.
  2. I am using Bosch doughnut type knock sensor. And I also have access to Knock block as well. But I can't have the both installed together so that I can hear the actual knock from the knock block and datalog from the engine dedicated knock sensor at the same time. I have to use one system at a time as there is no other point to install the extra pair of knock sensors to the block. But was thinking if I install the the knock block's sensors on top of the engine knock sensors with a longer bolt would that work? Or the one that's closer to the block would be more efficient to detect knock? (May be not as it would be solid tighten and sound travels the best through solids, as per my understanding but still asking). And about the setting to understand better, you are suggesting to setup the 6k frequency and set my knk threshold then change the frequency to 13k the set it up again. Also the knk threshold value should not exceed the 600mark upto redline? My current settings is at 6k. But it's detecting knk very badly around 5-7psi boost within 2500-3000rpm. I adjusted my timing and added fuel but still it's knocking at the same area. Even at 12-16 advance it's knocking. Also using this low ignition angle the car seems slow as well.
  3. 1.wanted to know if the map for 1jzgte vvti (7bar) inside the pc link software has the same as stock oem ignition table or not?? 2.also was looking for oem tune for the knock sensor so that there's a base map to tune the knock from or to keep the stock knock logic if not tuned. 3. what should be a good starting point for the threshold tables at different rpm/tps ranges and suggestions to tune the knock from scratch without a knockblock??
  4. @Vaughani did check it with a timing light. set all my (idle) ignition table to 10deg, then locked the timing at 10deg from the calibration folder. finally checked my timings with a timing light. so that means 15deg offset to get my engine time aligned with a timing light is ok as far as its done properly, correct? i was thinking it should be close to zero. like max 4-5deg offset. thats why thought my 15deg offset is wrong. and for the idle control part i dont have any solenoid nor a stepper. so need to use the throttle stopper and raise the total idle
  5. Thank you @Vaughan.This is what is was expecting, I also seen that untill it stalled there were no trigger issues. I don't have any iacv to control my idle. Is there any other way to control idle like using the ignition timing? And my trigger offset is set 15deg to get it timed. Is that ok?
  6. having trigger issues off throttle after high revs. it happens randomly and unpredictably but 1times out of 10 try. but whenever it happens off throttle the car dies. also my trigger offset is set to 15deg to get it timed. is that normal?? trigger issues.llgx power tune setup.pclx Trigger Scope1.llgx Trigger scope2.llgx Trigger Scope3.llgx
  7. i have set the trigger 1 arm volt to stock 1jz vvti from help section chart. seemed to fix the prob now and you were right @Adamw calibrating the vvti fixed that issue too about the cam signal error. But i have a question, while timing the engine with timing light i have noticed my timing is way off. locked my timing with the calibration menu as well as put the same value to the ignition table for minimal error. to get it properly timed i have to put a 15deg of offset. is that normal or ok? seemed too much to me. as far as i know it should be close to 0. thanks in advance.
  8. How to prevent noise getting into trigger? The wires are shielded , should I use noise filter? And about the log, I'll upload that soon currently out of the city. Thakns
  9. also my car doesn't start if i change my fuel equation to modelled from traditional mode. all the information about injectors and engine were filled properly but still it doesn't want to start and if i revert back to traditional mode it fires at the first crank without any issues, can someone shed light to this pls? power tune setup.pclx
  10. initially the trigger count was 0 and then i wasnt logging then, i feel the error count happens above 5 6k rpm.
  11. trigger 1 error counts, checked everything wiring continuity and polarity is fine. noticed a difference in arming voltage thresholds between the jzx100 map and the help sections 1jz vvti voltages. so far i was using the jzx100 base map from the software. So changed my values and will check the help sections 1jz vvti arming volts for the trigger 1 issue. the vvt doesnt work, above the rpm and map lockout if i rev the target changes but there is no changes in the actual movement. checked the wiring +14v at one pin and other goes to the aux 1 pin. after logging came to know that cam signal error and shows missing pulses. after some time i learned that it needs to be calibrated. how to calibrate that??? would love to have suggestions and directions about the problems. thank you! 12. I have adjusted the master fuel. Increasing it makes the mixtures rich, decreasing it makes it lean. The the default/OEM was at 16ms from jzx100 base map. My engine wasn't running untill I adjusted it to 3-6ms. But at 4ms the idle afr was on point. Above or below makes it richer or leaner. Tried both ways it wasn't taking revs. Then I connected lambda sensor and @Adamw was right! It was starving fuel and my base fuel table was horribly wrong. After adjusting the car is now revving with properly and not dying. Now my question is Does it matter performance wise, if the master fuel is lower or higher even if the target afr is achieved in both the cases?
  13. When I give throttle the injector duty cycle seem to drop. I am using 1300cc id injectors.updated my fuel flow, dead times, and short pulse adder according to it.so Traditional fuel flow mode is on.My master fuel is set to 4ms. AT 4ms it idles fine at around 14-15 afr(aem x band afr), increasing makes it lean and decreasing makes it rich. Will wire the afr sensor to the internal driver, waiting for the parts delivery. Any specific way to change injectors from oem 550cc to ID 1335cc in the map apart from what changes i did( changing flow table, dead times and short pulse width adder)?
  14. the car has now started but not taking any revs. if i touch the throttle a little bit it wants to die/stall, and if released immediately it recovers. it starts and idle fine but no response if i give throttle wants to be dead. i have attached the log and the map. not taking revs.llgx started no rev map.pclx
  15. yes the spark was tested all coils removed. will try again and let know. thanks
