hi yes can connect to to VPS, the battery was fully charged and i am trying to download the latest firmware.

the car has been of the road for a year, car start and runs but because i downloaded the latest software it is now asking me to download latest firmware which it wont let me.

i have searched for this problem on here and found 2 answers

1/ i have no dash display

2/ is set to manual connection

Hi i tried to upload the new firmware ignition turned on goes to dos window searching for ecu, 15 minutes later still searching no errors just keeps searching any ideas

we tried about 4 times

Is that for sequential injection? Or batch fire? Will the engine run in sequential using the 3x chopper on the crankshaft rather than the cam sensor? Or must l use the cam sensor. The car is configured to run in sequential.

Yes the pullups are on. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the holden V6 crank sensor?

We have now injector pulse and spark but.. one pair of coils are not firing when cranking but they do fire when using the ecu ignition test..?

The CDI is wired as wasted spark and cylinders 1+4 is the one driver thats not working.

If the CDIs driver was damaged would it still fire using the test? I wouldnt think so?

We have swapped coil plugs to rule out coils, leads and plugs, they are all working.

Hi guys running a v88 with a cdi ignition system the motor is a vt Holden v6 ecotech problem is the voltage from the 4 wires from the cas 2 wires are showing 5 volts, 1 is showing 8 volts and 1 is showing 0 volts thats the negative.

does that sound right?
