  1. Is it possible to add cruise control to my existing Vi-PEC 2004 USDM STi pcl file, or do I have to start tuning all over with the V10 Extreme G4+ plugin pcl file as a starting point? If I have cruise control turned on in the pcl file, does it affect the cruise control digital inputs for use with other items? I was using cruise on for logging, and the cruise switch for hi/low boost settings. Also now that the plug-in board ecu's are all LINK brand, what do I use for software with my Vi-PEC branded Subaru STi board?
  2. the power for the relay is wired to the switched power at the radio harness. It does not really bother me that it does this as I rarely sit in the car with the key in the acc position. Just wondering why it would to it.
  3. I hooked up an autometer shift light to my Subaru I88 V10 plug-in on Aux-8 (car has no TGV's so I was not using Aux-8). I used a relay, so the I88 is just providing a ground to trigger the light. It seams to work fine, when I do a test on command ( I have not ran the engine since the install to confirm 100% though). The weird thing is when I put the key in the accessory position the light turns on. when the key is in the run position its off. Why would this be? We turned Aux-7 off and I have Aux-8 set for a GP output now with Low Side driver. Any ideas? Thanks!
  4. The 2D is rpm vs ground speed. Ground speed is not an option for the 3D table. I use LF wheel speed for un-driven wheel speed, would this work for my launch control as well? Thanks for your help.
  5. According to this post http://www.linkecu.com/forums/link-g4-e ... #320657273 there is an issue with the LINK and 2D launch control. Does this also affect the I88 Plug-in for my Subaru (V10) 2004 STi USDM? I am racing this weekend and trying to dial in launch control, don't want to be chasing my tail if 2D has an issue. How can 3D be setup to work like 2D? I really just need a single stationary launch setting that deactivates at a set speed. Thanks!! Aaron.
  6. When will the update be released? Â Does this affect the Vi-Pec I88 plug in?
  7. what exactly is the bug? Â Does this apply to Vi-PEC I88 plug in's as well?
  8. I am adding 3 more sensors to the ecu, pre-intercooler air temp, oil pressure, and fuel pressure. Can I run all 3 sensor grounds to the sensor ground in the xs connector without overloading it? the 2 pressure sensors also require 5V input, can I run both of these off the 5 volt supply in the xs connector without issue? Thank you!
  9. The Dash 2 does not appear to have CAN inputs on the wiring diagram like the dash 2pro does, so I don't think it will do CAN http://www.race-technology.com/wiki/ind ... stallation http://www.race-technology.com/wiki/ind ... stallation
  10. Pros of can over serial? What's the price for the vipec branded unit? Is it more plug and play? Can you get me details on the rebranded dash2pro? In the us if that matters. Shop I go to is a vipec dealer now. Thanks.
  11. I have a i88 plug in for my subaru sti (2004) and would like to add the race technology dash. What can cable do I need to do this ? Will the dash 2 work or do I need the dash 2 pro? I won't be adding any additional logging etc. Just want a nice display dash for information from the vipec. Thanks.
  12. Hello just bought and installed a V10 plug in in my usdm 2004 sti. Setup and initial fire went smooth. I did buy the expansion connector and I have a question on its functionality. The online manual and ivts help show 5 of the 8 pins have no function. The manual that came with the ecu had a function listed for all 8. Which is correct? We tried to wire a sensor to the white wire which is no function / anvolt11 (I think) and it did not work. Connected the same signal wire to a non used wire in the car harness and it worked perfect. Please let me know true functionality of this expansion connector. Also I entered my ecu and serial number in the forum. Will I be able to post outside the guess area soon? Thanks.
