  1. for the 20v trigger 2 do you use G1 or G2?
  2. i need a trigger setting for this model. before you ask, no, subaru quad avcs and suzuki vtc doesn't work. attached are trigger scope for this engine.
  3. the car doesnt not have a an controller build in. i am using storm to control the AC directly. it doesnt not have a pressure sensor on the ac line. how do i disable the high/low AC pressure lockup?
  4. how does exit decay rate affect launch control turning "off" time in advance mode? higher or lower value for quicker turn off time? sometimes i have a problem of launch control not turning off when it should have be, like the car already started moving forward it is still stuck in launch mode.
  5. stock distributor as trigger. The car running fine on stock ignition. wire as per firing order? I am following the wiring manual. Can anyone reconfirm?
  6. i have installed atom on obd1 b16a civic by wire in. car running fine on stock distributor ignition but we cannot get it running with individual coil on plug. it get back fire from intake sounds like wrong firing sequence. i have checked every setting and make sure it is correct. what could possibly goes wrong? ignition mode: direct spark spark edge: falling ignition coil used is honda k20a wired as follow. ignition output 1 - cylinder 1 ignition output 2 - cylinder 2 ignition output 3 - cylinder 3 ignition output 4 - cylinder 4
  7. I would prefer to control the entire water meth system with link ecu itself. Bypassing the aquamist control box. Our ecu is more than capable of controlling water meth. Select an unused output, configure it as GP output, use condition 1 AND 2 (MAP and RPM) and you get to select whichever rpm/map you want the meth to start spraying. Use an external 30A relay to run the water meth pump controlled with the ecu output. You can then use 4D ignition and fuel to trim fueling and timing when water meth is running.

  9. Solved it. The ecu could not accept trigger 2 that much off. I cut a new key way on the cam and time it at stock position. All good now.
  10. i tried 0 to 360 degree. what is the correct offset number for a stock evo3?

Simon, i crank the engine for the first time today. the timing light does not line up with the locked timing at 0 btdc. i tried to adjust the trigger offset but still could not get it to line up. do you think the cam sensor trigger 2 is too far off? trigger 1 is on the crank itself so no problem there.

Simon, how far can we move before it started to affect sync? the reason i ask is because i am using an evo8 cam in evo3, the evo8 cam key slot is out by 45 degree retarded when the cam timing in correct position. i did not make a new slot for cam sensor. trig1 is on the crank so no problem there.
  15. for 4g63 evo1-6 does ignition timing calculation come from cam or crank sensor? or it use both? does ignition timing change if we adjust camshaft by moving cam gear?
  16. thanks scott! can we remove the 2 middle +12v power from the iac valve? with haltech ecu we are advised to remove the 12v for better control?
