I personally used 18 awg (tefzel) make sure you wire it up on its own relay from Battery + not ignition, there’s quite a few noted issues in the forum about this.

Hi guys, I have tried multiple files and configurations to get my C125 to be found on the Link Canbus detection with no luck, it can see my CAN lambda, ive tried the help file in the link software for Motec dash, changed settings to suit, could someone have a look at the current setting in my map and config file and see where I might be going wrong?
Other thing to note: Im using canbus 1 on G4 and plugging into the ECU connector on the C125 which Is CANBUS 2, but have tried swapping everything over but did not seem to change.
Cheers!

Perfect, I had read somewhere on this forum that this was only available on the Wire in ECU not the Plugins, hence my question.
Thanks for your reply!

1 hour ago, Vaughan said:
Aux 5-8 can drive high side, ignition drives can only drive low side when being used as an auxiliary.
In PCLink set the Driver Type to High Side.On the S13 plugin
- Aux 5 is pin 113
- Aux 6 is pin 25
- Aux 7 is pin 32
- Aux 8 is pin 33
Thanks for the reply, maybe I am not being clear enough.
Can I use any Auxiliary Outputs to "positive " trigger a 12v relay?
Cheers

Hi guys, been scouting the forums and just need a technical question clarified, I see there’s conflicting info on high side driving on some of the plug in ECU’s. I had intended on using Ign 5 to Ign 7 on my S13 plug in link to 12v + switch some relays as the bussmann Relay box I have needs a positive trigger.
If these can’t be used, are there any outputs on this particular plug in board I could use? I no longer have A/C, it’s been converted to E-Throttle, so I have quite a few more Auxilary’s free.
Cheers

I’m after the same info, i’ve also got there universal pedal too

Thanks Adam, think i’ll stick with CAN 2 to keep my OCD at bay

Hi there, please see attached wiring schematic, I’m in the middle of wiring up a canbus loom from a G4+ plugin S13 ecu which i believe has an inbuilt resistor for canbus, then next I have a Link can lambda and then last in the chain a Motec C125, am I correct in that I should use Can 2 output on the G4+ as i’ll be connecting the dash to the motec “ecu” connector which is also labeled as Can 2 and also a spliced in resistor?
Cheers

Hey all, so i’m running a plug in link G4+ S13, have 2 Xs looms and 2 canbus adapter looms, internal map sensor hose, tuning cable and 2 e-throttle wires to route, so it’s pretty busy, how’s everyone routing all these cables? through the aluminium side case or out of the steel lid? anyone have pics of a tidy installation?

All sorted , ECU was modified along with a couple of extra Aux outputs, turned around in less than a week.
Appeciate the help, customer service is top notch!

Cool, so Will I need to use the External E-Throttle Module once this modification is done? Also these Aux 9 and Aux 10 wires/Pins are these on the Factory Header Plug or the Expansion Loom plugs? I’m a little lost without a visual.
Cheers

Perfect, who would be the best person to contact and see this through to a result?

Hi all, Ive had a search and couldnt quite find all the information im after, have an S13 plugin link im using on an SR20DET, its only 12 months old, but is there anyway I can tell if this will work with E-Throttle? I believe some plugins will have an inbuilt option to allow this option using the external E-Throttle module.
Cheers

Thanks for taking a look and clarifying about the find devices! Just figured it was the same process for every device.
No data at all on the dash, CAN lambda is being discovered by the Link ECU but no voltage seems to be being displayed in ECU real time, I take it this is because the engine isn’t running? I cannot run the engine at the moment (fresh engine) . I’ve checked for power and earth at the CANLambda and it is all OK, so I can only assume that since the ECU discovers the Lambda sensor the CANbus must be Ok?
Can’t seem to find any dash diagnostics to be honest, literally pulled it out of the box yesterday, have a feeling it’s something in the Dash I’m missing.
