    2GR-FE Wiring

Oh this is amazing. I honestly did not expect so much 2gr adjacent wiring within the help files. Thanks a ton Vaughn.

    2GR-FE Wiring

Thanks a ton. I was under the impression aux 9 and 10 were tps main and sub so Yeah I'll just wait for your guidance on that lolol

    2GR-FE Wiring

Also if anyone has any info onthe proper wiring of the TPS connector that'd be awesome. TPS Main and Sub would be the two shielded wires? ( I'm harvesting the previously wired setup which was a VW/Audi TB ) The pedal is wired properly. TPS main - Pin 5 ( shielded ) TPS Sub - Pin 4 ( shielded ) Pin 2 - 12v+ Pin 1 - Ground Pin 3 - ???? Pin 6 - ?????

    2GR-FE Wiring

Hey there - do you guys have any info on how to wire the ACIS valve? I assume Pin 1 to 12v and Pin 2 ecu?

    2GR-FE Wiring

Looks like we had the same idea here then. I did the same. Trig 2 to Bank 1, inlet. ( I determined bank 1 vs 2 based on cylinder numbers ). The remaining sensors are going to DI2-4

    2GR-FE Wiring

Hey guys - I wanted to clarify something as I'm looking at a map I was given as a base. They have Cam 1 (inlet LH ) going to DI 1. I ran that to Trig 2. Did I do this incorrectly? Is there a specific way I should configure this in the map? I ran cam 2 to DI 1

    2GR-FE Wiring

Thanks guys: I'll get those resistors ordered.

    2GR-FE Wiring

Adam thanks for that. I'll order some 2.2k pullup resistors So just one of these needs to go to trig2 and the other three can go to Aux 1-4?

Vaughn you are a saint. Thanks much!

    2GR-FE Wiring

Hi all, Just looking for a bit of help here as I'm new to wiring. VVTi Solenoids : Each of these ( f/r intake, f/r exhaust ) Pin 2 of each connector goes to the ecu. Where on the ECU should each of these go and what should I configure that I/O for? Pin 1 goes to a switched power? Cam Sensors: Each of these ( f/r intake , f/r exhaust ) Pin 1 goes to the ecu . Would these go to trig 1-4? . Pin 2 goes to ground and pin 3 to +5v? Crank Sensor: Pin 1 goes to ecu ( where? ) Pin 2 goes to ecu (where?) Which of these is necessary to have shielded wire? This is the document I've been referencing. Thanks all!
  11. Understood - thank you! I was alittle confused on how to setup a sensor that has two functions ha! So of course it just goes to one I/O or are there separate wires based on which function you're using ( so two I/O wires ) ?
  12. Hi folks. Haven't setup this dual temp/pressure sensor from Link before. Is there a preset in software for it? If not, does anyone have any info on a proper table for it? https://dealers.linkecu.com/CPTS Cheers!
  13. Wow 8!? That's really cool. Presumably for individual cylinder lambda control? That's really amazing. Thanks Adam, I will do just this.
  14. Hi there - could someone advise me on how to configure a second CAN Lambda module? I have one currently but am going to an additional for a different engine. Currently i have a powertune dash in CAN and also a single CAN Lambda. Do I just simple splice the second one into the CAN Harness? How is this additional one configured? Thanks much!
  15. Thanks abunch - really appreciate that. Going to provision it this weekend
  16. KO Racing! Thanks abunch for that. That low level light I don't need I can see. So ground and the variable resistance. So I just need to scale the table properly and wire in like Adam mentioned above? I'll get right on it!
  17. Great - thanks much. Curious question while I have you that came up from reading the above post. I'm actually looking to migrate from the 3sgte to the 2grfe. I have most of the wiring stuff sorted by combing this forum so thats good to go. I'd planned to continue to use my link 4 bar map sensor ( converting the 2gr to VE ) - is that possible? Eventually I will give it boost but for a bit it will stay NA. Is there any reason a 4bar map would be inappropriate for this setup?
  18. Adam, Thanks for the response. I actually reached out to Powertune and they linked the same post. They said it's possible to read fuel level via CAN and display it on the dash - which is great. I'm concerned about the above post because it doesn't seem that it's MR2 specific? I believe the SW20 chassis has some nuance with it's fuel level gauge. Maybe that it's reversed from the standard? I'm not 100% sure and unfortunately can't find the post where I originally saw that information xD
  19. Hi all. I'm looking for some ideas on how to wire in a fuel level gauge for the G4+ Xtreme on the SW20 chassis. I'll be running a powertune dash and would very much like to send fuel level info via CAN do the dash. I assume I need to tap into the stock sender wiring. Anyone have any ideas how to accomplish this? Much appreciated.

    3sgte Idles lean

Hi all. Below you will find a log of the situation I'm dealing with as well as my cal. In VE mode, I'm having to throw values close to 100 to get the car to idle around stoich. If it does idle at stoich, it'll hangout there for a second and then go very lean. I'm running Bosch Ev14 1000cc injectors with my oem resistor pack bypassed. Pump is a walboro 450 fed through -6 hose. Is a massive air leak or something causing this? I'm really at a loss. I'm going to try and find a way to do an air leak test here without a compressor. Thanks Daniel_map_startup.pclr lean log.llg
  21. The triggers themselves were setup correctly ( as they were just copied over from the mr2 base map that ran my car ). It was an offset issue. I had to physically move the distributor so that with zero trigger offset and timing locked to 10 BTDC, The timing mark would line up with 10 BTDC on the crank. THEN I had bump the trigger offset to 360 and it fired right up. Sounds healthier than ever.
  22. The issue ended up being a trigger issue. Thanks a lot for everyone's help! I've learned a lot from this process. She's running and running quite smoothly.
  23. I thought I had this done when I had the car running on stock ignition but it wouldn't hurt to check. I'll do just that.
  24. I'm really just starting to believe I have a timing issue. Anyone have any ideas on how to ensure I have the engine timing synced with the ecu properly?
