Explode64
I am looking at setting up EMAP on my RX7 for the next time it is on the dyno to see if I have the exhaust housing sized correctly fore my application, Currently i'm running a Holset 14cm housing and small runner divided manifold. When adding EMAP to a twin scroll setup is it OK to merge the 2 pressure lines in one damper before a single sensor or should they be kept separate? Or is there normally very little difference between each runner and just a single runner can be analysed? Also are the dampers that are used just a canister with muffler packing or are there diaphragms?
Adamw
Its really the average that you are after so I would tap both runners and merge them into a single damper. The common canisters that I have seen are just a hollow can full of steel wool.
