I have got the Link Ecu XTREME, and installed and connected it to the BMW E36M50B25 vanos. How can i make the vanos work? Should i set up any special configuration? Could you please advice. Maybe you have any guidelines on the correct vanos set up? Because it seems doesnt work.

The M50B25 engine doesnt have vanos.  Only the M50B25TU has vanos.  The B25TU vanos is very simple just on/off control like similar to Honda VTEC.

You can look at the setup in the E36 plug-in basemap, Aux ouput #3, it just turns on at 2500RPM, and turns off at 4500RPM.

Hey there ... Im doing some tuning on a friends M52B25 it has a single intake Vanos.. is this Aux output configurable ... this engine is turbocharged and Im interested in using the vanos to help spool the turbo (not sure if it will) but would of course want to reduce overlap on boost so have it turn off closer to 3500RPM  and maybe come in at 2000 RPM? He has Link G4+

thank you for your time
