GTRLink g4+ - OBDII

Hey all!

Have a question around the link g4+ and OBDII.

I made up a cable that goes from Can/r232 to OBDII Connector. On the OBDII Connector I have Can High connected to port 6 and Can low on port 14 on the OBDII Connector. However a wireless and wired OBDII is able to connect to the ecu.

The ecu is password protected by the tuner, would this stop being able to read OBDII?

For it to work the OBD2 needs to be enabled in the software, so it likely is turned off.  You will need to get it unlocked to set up like below.

If you wanted to test, you can save a copy of the current locked tune, then load in an unlocked base map and turn on OBD2 to confirm it works.

You can then load the locked tune back in afterwards - obd still wont work, but at least can confirm wiring etc is ok.
