cam sensor problem

Hi Guys

I have just about finished a EJ25 Build for my wrx v8 running  a link g4+ plug and play. So the factory engine runs a cam sensor on the left head and a cam sensor on the back of the head in the intake cam 2 pin AC

the new build is a D25 head off a EJ255 engine and it does not run a cam sensor on the left front. but runs a 3 pin hall effect sensor is there any way i can make this work without changing the sensors over as i will run into other issues ie length and diameter. and can i run with out the front left cam sensor??

thanks

The EJ25 trigger mode expects to see the common 36-2-2-2 crank pattern and a 3 tooth (4-1) pattern on the LH Inlet cam (back of head).  You will need to use the matching hall sensor that is designed for that cam/head.  You will need to run a new wire to supply power to the third pin.  You will have to do the same to the sensor on the RH side if you have AVCS.
