Josh Smith Posted June 14, 2020 Report Share Posted June 14, 2020 Hi Guys I have just about finished a EJ25 Build for my wrx v8 running a link g4+ plug and play. So the factory engine runs a cam sensor on the left head and a cam sensor on the back of the head in the intake cam 2 pin AC the new build is a D25 head off a EJ255 engine and it does not run a cam sensor on the left front. but runs a 3 pin hall effect sensor is there any way i can make this work without changing the sensors over as i will run into other issues ie length and diameter. and can i run with out the front left cam sensor?? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Adamw Posted June 14, 2020 Report Share Posted June 14, 2020 The EJ25 trigger mode expects to see the common 36-2-2-2 crank pattern and a 3 tooth (4-1) pattern on the LH Inlet cam (back of head). You will need to use the matching hall sensor that is designed for that cam/head. You will need to run a new wire to supply power to the third pin.
