Mike928
Hi, this is my first time here, so please be gentle! I have a G4+ Thunder that I want to connect to a Bosch DBW pedal sensor from a VW Jetta, Bosch part # 0 205 001 0344. It will drive 2 x Bosch E-throttle bodies. I need the pinout for the pedal sensor and any advice on the connections I should use on the Thunder.

The wire colours don't match my pedal sensor though. Mine are solid colours as follows in order; Brown, Grey, Yellow, White, Green, Pink They come out of the sensor in a straight line as above and go to a 6 pin plug. Adamw
Colours dont matter usually there will be pin numbers on the connector or plug housing somewhere.

With this info, I have come up with a wiring plan for the looms A & B I have, plus the plugs C&D to connect to the 2 Bosch E-throttle bodies [0 280 750 0017] and the Bosch FPS [0 205 001 034], as follows; plug A, #22 An Volt 2, E-Throttle 1 TPS 2 pin 5 plug A, #33 An Volt 3, E-Throttle 1 TPS 1 pin 6 plug B, #18 Aux 9, E-Throttle 1 Motor (+) pin 4 plug B, #23 An Volt 8, E-Throttle 2 TPS 2 pin 5 plug B, #24 An Volt 9, E-Throttle 2 TPS 1 pin 6 plug B, #26 Aux 10, E-Throttle 1 Motor (-) pin 1 plug B, #31 An Volt 10, E-Throttle 1 TPS (-) pin 2 plug B, #32 An Volt 11, E-Throttle 2 TPS (-) pin 2 plug B, #33 An Volt 5, Foot Position Sensor AP Main pin 4 plug D, #4 +5V, E-Throttle 1&2 TPS (5v+) pin 3 plug D, #5 Gnd Out, FPS pin 3&5 ground plug D, #20 Aux 17, E-Throttle 2 Motor (+) pin 4 plug D, #21 Aux 18, E-Throttle 2 Motor (-) pin 1 Does this seem correct? Adamw
Yes the ecu connections look ok, I dont have any pinout information for that throttlebody to confirm. Dont forget you will need +5V for the pedal and Gnd for the TPS as well, I dont see those on your list.
Mike928
The E-Throttle pinout I'm using is 1=motor (-), 2=TPS (-), 3=TPS (+), 4=motor (+), 5=TPS 2 (out), 6=TPS 1 (out). I think TPS 1 is main and TPS 2 is sub?? +5V is fed from Plug D, pin 4 for both E-Throttle bodies and the 2 +5V inputs [1&2] of the FPS. I HOPE THAT PLUG d, PIN 4 IS OK WITH THE 4 FEEDS? I forgot to say, the FPS grounds [both 3&5] are fed from plug D, pin 5 Gnd Out.

Most likely, but it doesnt matter anyway, if it doesnt work it is only a matter of swapping the sub/main functions in the Link software. 11 minutes ago, Mike928 said: I HOPE THAT PLUG d, PIN 4 IS OK WITH THE 4 FEEDS? Yes, 400ma supply, it should be enough for at least 30 typical sensors.
Mike928
My next wiring issue is the Hall sensor on the camshaft, Bosch 0 232 101 013, which is a standard fit on the 87-95 Porsche 928 plus a few others. Also the Crank angle sensor, Bosch 0 261 210 002, a standard fit to my engine. lastly, I hope, the knock sensors, Bosch 0 261 231 036. These are all 3 pin units. The Porsche wiring diagram shows then connected to the stock controller where the wires disappear. Any help greatly appreciated.
