928sg
I'm using the VAG Bosch Coil 07K905715G I'm planning on using the following wire sizes power positive(12v+) 18AWG TXL power ground 18AWG TXL ecu signal (5v) 20AWG (Link Harness supplied) signal ground 20AWG TXL This is for a NA 90 degree V8 with a max RPM of 7500. For power, I'm planning on running one 14AWG TXL to each bank ( approximately 48 inches from relay) and then split out to four 18AWG TXL (lengths ranging from 12 inches to 20 inches) This is my 1st foray into coil on plug so I don't know much about dwell, current & current draw. I found quite a bit of info about calculating the current draw but I don't have a scope.
Adamw
Yes, that sounds good. Those coils pull about 4-8A max at typical NA dwell times. Both grounds should go to the cyl head - I believe one is secondary winding ground and the other is the ignitor ground.
