JcL
Hi everyone, I just installed my g4 moonsoon link in my car project, but I can't get it to work. the project was previously mounted with megasquirt and it worked perfectly in wasted spark. I acquired the link ecu to make it work full sequential. the main problem I have is that I don't have an rpm reading so there are no spark shots or fuel. I have checked the wiring and the reluctor sensor and everything is correct. i have even reassembled the megasquirt ecu and it works as before. I start to think that my link is faulty or that I am missing something to adjust, but I don't know which one ... I am attaching a photo of the current setup for you to see. my moonsoon has no trigger scope function. I am looking forward to your response. Adamw
What is the engine? Does Trig1 signal and Trig2 signal turn green and say yes when cranking? Has the ECU been unlocked?
JcL
The engine is opel c20xe with crank trigger wheel 60-2 tooth and cam custom trigger 1 tooth. Trigger1 is green YES. Trigger2 is black NO. I think the cam sensor is not working, I'll have to see why. I think the best thing is to try to make it start in wasted spark only with the trigger crank and once it works solve the problem of the cam trigger. if I put the sync cam in none, will it work in wasted spark without changing anything in the wiring? the ecu is unlocked otherwise it could not adjust anything. augusto
HELLO This engine uses a hall sensor on the camshaft and not reluctor. Augusto
JcL
Yes , cam sensor is a hall sensor , check the wiring and it is correct. might i need pullup activation?
Adamw
If the cam is hall, then set trigger 2 type to optical/hall and set pull-up to on.
