Guest |980|
I heard from my dealer that early v88 doesn't work good with subaru factory knock sensor and I found that VTS help says: Subaru V10 "The VX V88 is not compatible with the factory knock sensor (knock will not be detected). To work around this problem, please install an after market Bosch knock sensor." So, does v88 work with V11 STi(Hatchback) OEM knock sensor now? What the correct setup will be in the knock setup menu?
bsh
Hi I have not got any info that the newer V88 will accept the newer 2nd harmonics knock sensors found in your car. I think installing a Bosch donut sensor which is available at your dealer will do the job. If you feel you must use the oem sensor, I would have wired in the digital Vi-PEC knock amplifier. Simon
The newer V88s also do not accept second harmonic (V11) sensors. Will need to use an alternative sensor or use the external knock amplifier
