AdDaMan
I'm surprised to see there are no built in calibrations for the older style AEM wideband (pre x-series) Does anyone have any solid configs for the custom table? Seems very hard to get it bang on. Thanks.
Adamw
That is exactly the reason there is no built-in calibration, the early AEM gauges where terrible, not only did they not have a analog ground so you will have a variable ground offset to compensate for, but the analog output was also quite variable, so no two gauges will end up with the same cal. Use cal 4/5/6, start with the numbers from the gauge datasheet and offset from there until your ecu matches the gauge as best as it can. AdDaMan
Just now, Adamw said: That is exactly the reason there is no built-in calibration, the early AEM gauges where terrible, not only did they not have a analog ground so you will have a variable ground offset to compensate for, but the analog output was also quite variable, so no two gauges will end up with the same cal. Wish i'd have just got an X-series to replace this one (came on the car) but it's too late now!
