holyftype
hello, i just bought an s15 thats pretty close to stock. i have bought intakes intercooler etc etc and i'm planning to go upgrade to a gt2875r eventually. So a link upgrade is in my books so i'm planning to install it first thing to set the safety peremeters and have it tuned before actually driving it. what other products should i buy along the link ecu to support it? boost controller etc etc I'm just getting into ecu stuff and i dont have much experience with electronics. All my car experience has been with exotics.
Adamw
Yes a boost solenoid is good to have. You will need an air temp sensor fitted in to the intake manifold or in the pipework somewhere near the throttle body. An expansion loom will make this easier to connect. Other common accessories are oil and fuel pressure sensors - you can use these for engine protection and fuel pressure compensation can improve the tune and is good for diagnostics. A wideband lambda is another one that is nice to have.
