dylan9494
Hi Guys, Im trying to enhance the sound of my cams in my rb26 motor. I currently have a built bottom end with tomei 260 cams. The idle is quite tame and not as aggressive as my stock motor surprisingly. I was advised that i could enhance the cam lope with some tuning of the idle ignition table (ghost cam). Im after some advice on what values i should be putting in these tables as im a complete noob when it comes to tuning. I will attach some screenshots of my current tables look like for ignition. I have also seen some videos online of "rotational idle" and "cyclic idle" wondering if they're something i can achieve? thank you in advance (no pun intended)
Adamw
Not really my thing, but tables I have seen from others that do it are something like this:
dylan9494
Hi Adam and thanks for your reply, Do i need to modify the "idle ignition control" table? Also does the "idle ignition table" need to have the axis changed to "idle target error"? refer to the image linked. Thanks
Adamw
It should be pretty self explanatory the difference between your table and the example I posted. Make you table look like my one as a start.
