Nielsen Rallysport
Hey guys, I've recently purchased a G4x plug in for my OBD2 civic with a B18cr, which started fine on the base tune. Recently I've converted to coil on plug using the factory dizzy with the ignition module and rotor removed, but can't get it to run. (following advice from the thread below) We've changed the ignition settings, ignition mode to "direct spark" and spark edge to "falling", checked all coils are giving spark in the correct sequence and checked timing with a timing light, which still seems to be correct. However when cranking, it doesn't even sounds like it's going to start and backfires-our thinking is the timing is out of sequence some how. Are there any settings anyone can suggest to help sort this out? Tune file attached. Thanks in advance!! Adamw
Has it ran previously? Your MAP, TP and IAT sensor all appear to be reading very wrong? Provided you have already checked base timing then I would try adding 360deg to your trigger offset - you may be sparking at TDC on the exhaust stroke. Nielsen Rallysport
Thanks Adam, trigger offset worked a treat! Cheers, Mark
