chris.p Posted May 7, 2021 Report Share Posted May 7, 2021 Hi guys , I’ve got an e36 Plug n play g4x the car has dumb coils as standard, I believe the igniter is built into the ecu on these. Adamw Posted May 8, 2021 Report Share Posted May 8, 2021 Info from the help file below. You have to add a pull-up resistor. Most smart coils will work with this method but avoid the VAG low impedance ones as the 470ohm pull-up wont be enough to drive them. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
