honda k20 vtc wiring

Hi all

I have the fury ecu wired to my K20 in my sevenesque kit car.

I and trying to get the vtc solenoid to work- I have taken the aux out 1 orange/balck wire to the solenoid and the taken a +12v from a ignition switched relay.

I am getting +12v from the + feed - all good, and with the solenoid off Aux out 1 is +12V and when you switch the Aux 1 test on  it drops to +10.1 volts

There is no option to switch it to low side

Am i right in thinking Aux out 1 should drop to gnd when i switch the test on ?

I have fitted a new genuine vtc solenoid and have tested this with a 12v supply but it wont work when i put it on test within the software

Any help is appreciated

Adrian.

Yes, aux 1 should go to near 0V when in Test (ON).  Are you measuring the 10.1V with the solenoid unplugged or is that with the solenoid connected?

unplugged - Is their any settings that can cause this ?

Not that I can think off.  Can you do a similar test on some of the other auxes.  Aux 1-4 are all part of the same chipset so try one from this set and one from Aux 5-8.
